Seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit bin ich um die weißen Wedge-Sneaker, Modell BETTY, von Isabel Marant herumgeschlichen – in den Online-Stores wie Net a Porter und anderen waren sie mir einfach viel zu teuer. Nach dem großen Erfolg ist die Neuauflage sogar noch teurer ausgefallen. Hm. Schade.
Als ich die Hoffnung schon aufgegeben hatte, fand ich sie schlussendlich auf Ebay zu einem absoluten Schnäppchenpreis. So dass ich nicht umhin konnte und meinen selbstauferlegten Shopping-Ban, der seit September 2011 angehalten hatte, kurzerhand unterbrochen habe. Ende gut, alles gut….
Die BETTY’s haben meine Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Nachdem ich mit dem Modell Perkins/Willow damals einen ziemlichen Griff ins Klo gelandet hatte, kauerte ganz hinten in mir noch der leise Zweifel, ob es mit den Betty’s nicht genauso laufen könnte. Aber Irrtum. Die weißen BETTY’s sind einfach phantastisch!
Since what felt like a little eternity I was sneaking around the white wedge sneakers, model BETTY, by Isabel Marant – in the online stores such as Net a Porter and others, they were just too expensive IMO. After the huge success in last year finally the new pairs have been re-edited even more expensive. Hm, that’s a shame.
When I had given up hope already, I found them eventually on Ebay for a bargain price. So that I could not help and my self-imposed shopping ban, which had lasted since September 2011, had unceremoniously interrupted. Well that ends well ….
The Betty’s exceeded my expectations even more. After I made such a worse experience with the more futuristic model Perkins / Willow I still had some doubts whether it would not run well with the Betty’s, too. But wrong. The white BETTY’s are just fantastic!
