That sounds like an awesome idea! It wold sound perfect if you switched the latte for a strawberry smoothie (I know, I know, smoothies aren’t warm, but I don’t like hot drinks!) :D

Okay, you’re going to laugh, I didn’t realize that there was an “R” in the Sartorialist up until about 4 months ago. I kid you not. I was embarrassed, but so glad I’m not the only one :)

Great photos! I’ll take those sweet ankle boots — they’re perfection…as is Chanel *sigh*

Have a fabulous weekend / xo

    Hello my Sofie-

The weather in Dallas is so freezing cold today. How are you???? It has been a long time since I last talked to you. I hope everything are well for you. All the photos look beautiful. My favorite is of course Carine and her bff :-).
Chanel looking so great this season. The men’s metallic suit is Loc favorite. He wants to wear something like that on our wedding day. hehe
    Have a nice weekend love,
    xoxo Nini

Since I’ve got his book, it is my daily read before going to sleep. However, I have to be careful and not to read to much of it, because I might finish the book too soon and I’d be out of pictures :)

  21. dreamsequins says:

    Hi sweet Sofie–

I love the women who are photographed on The Sart– they all have their own unique styles. There’s something endearingly “off” about each look that makes you study them a bit to learn what makes their style unique…

The Chanel hair was so amazing! Love that you nailed it with the Futurama cartoon hair ;) I wonder how I would look with poofy grey hair. :)

Hope you are staying nice and cozy today… With YOUR Mr. and a nice coffee… xx

    D!

Blog answer: Hi! I’m doing okay, despite the fact that I feel like I’ve put on twenty pounds this weekend x) I really know what you mean. I’ve been forced to walk to school every day for the past week now (because of all the snow), and when it finally looked like it was going to snow snowing… you guessed it – it started snowing even MORE. Uh, I WANT SPRING! I’m no summer person, but that doesn’t make me a winter person x)

  24. Tamara says:

    Amazing selection of pics!
Mom from Futurama, hehe, funny! I would have never guessed…

  25. marian says:

Darling Sofie I hope all is well. have a lovely week

never mind the comment if you havent seen it haha

and dont you just wish the sartorialist would take photos of you?! ahh a girl can dream

  28. Tuesday says:

You blog layout is too cool too! I heart BIG pictures :D

  29. sofie says:

oh yes, of course!! You’re right! The guy with a nice pair of boobs on his head!? XD

  30. Anya says:

    Dear Sofie,
Thank you so very much for your wonderful and kind words. You touched me so very deep in my heart. I, sometimes, get lost when caught in the emotions and it took me a little bit to recover from feeling all sorts of things after reading your letter. :-) ThIank you for being so kind and understanding. I am sure your new sister-in-law and her sweet little daughter will become a great addition to your family.
I also love visiting Sartorialist – so many little discoveries in terms of how to wear certain things! I love his way of translating the currancy of style and often find myslef inspired by his photographs. Chanel latest couture collection is , of course, amazing – I would not expect less and I thought that in some cases hair are a bit funny. Do you think Karl was aiming for the “funny’ effect?
I am currently staying home sick with a terrible sore throat and feeling miserable and sorry for myslef. Hoping for this Winter to end soon…It is difficult to be inspired when it is grey outside and grey inside. :-)))) Wishing you beautiful day my darling Sofie!

I especially like the way Olivia “I have KILLing legs” Palermo ideally illustrates THE “Bitchy BOMBshell” (so sulfurous) idea . . .
ps: AAAaah YES I have a little “cyber surprise” to you on “Florilège d’esthète” Dear Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes (The questionnaire is obviously facultative, it’s the Pleasure to make a commented link beyond All) !!!

Love all these pictures Sophie!! Such a great inspiration!! I hope you’re well! xoxoxoxo

  33. Elaine says:

i love the pics you’ve selected here!

i’ve just mentioned you for a blog award. big hugs to you!

  34. hauteworld says:

Hahaha… you’re right! Those hairstyles look exactly like ‘mom’! I haven’t watched Futurama in ages… I really should start again ;-) I’m probably harsh with this statement, but I found the hair to be the most interesting aspect of the HC Chanel show (I think I’m just very bored with this brand at the moment).

And I don’t sound like Fran anymore unfortunately…. my cold disappeared long ago and my voice is back to normal ;-) Such a shame you never made it to Paris. You should definitely reschedule!

Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far and that Germany isn’t still as freezing cold!

  35. lol, cute post. i thought you might say the hair was inspired by Lady Gaga. i wonder if Wiki means “generous” figure instead of “general” figure. but she sure looks anything but (generous) here.

  36. I really like the picture of Sascha with the other model. I like what Sascha is wearing. I’d like to progress to that style when im in my 30s-40s.
