Sweetheart…. I wish I was over there just to give you a big hug and sit beside you without saying a word. You know it’s amazing to have a guardian angel like Susanne, she’ll always make sure you are safe.

Here’s something for you to listen… It’s one of my favourite songs ever… Hope it will help, even temporarily, but still…

‘Your sister is beautiful. I don’t know what happened, but I can tell she meant a lot to you.

  20. Hi Sofie! Such a lovely photo of your sister- while I don’t know what it’s like to lose a sibling, I have seen it- my ex boyfriend lost his sister in a sudden accident. It’s a very tough thing and the pain never quite leaves you, but you can take comfort in the love that you both shared and share now. Sending lots of hugs your way, xo, Mel

  21. eyyy miss you!!!1

  22. Anya says:

Dear Sofie, I am so very sorry you have to go through the loss and pain. This wonderful poem brought tears to my eyes.My hearts aches for you since I too have a sister whom I adore.

    (By Mary E Faye)

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die…

  23. Tom Tuttle from Tacoma says:

    hi Sofie,

how’ve you been? i do hope you’re doing fine. i didn’t know of this song by madonna. i think of “i’ll be there” by the escape club.

i was haunted by DK’s passing for quite a while. all the what ifs and what could’ve beens. the human soul cannot escape from facing his own demons, i personally feel. i don’t exaggerate when i say it’s easy to tip over to that dark place.

sorry to sound morbid. and i hope i don’t sound too cryptic. wishing you well.

  24. Oh Sofie! So gorgeous. What a beautiful post! My thoughts are with you…

  25. WendyB says:
