As for Balmain. It’s a funny thing… I love seeing these clothes on other people, but wouldn’t be able to wear them myself. I think you’ve got to be edgy and I am all so feminine/classic/blah-blah-blah… basically old(fashioned?) :)))
And I think i’d have to work on my legs… Lose a few lbs… Have a lipo…. Never eat again… :))) Oh, God… where would it end? In Balmain boutique, I guess! :)
Anyway… being serious again. After seeing more or less everything of future summer fashion I will definitely consider losing a few lbs. Models do not seem to wear that much at all… shorts are getting microscopic or absent and yes, I do love this look… So I’ve decided to get the legs for it. :)
How’s your weekend going? I’m at home, relaxing and baking bread! It’s my first loaf and it’s amazing. Of course, I am going it in a machine. I tried old-fashioned ways, but I am not that good (my grandma was always my top chef when it comes to pies and breads, but she never told me the secret…), so I am being a 21 century woman with a machine. :)
By the way, that lemon tart was delicious! It was gone before I knew it. :)))

I absolutely LOVE Isabel Marant. Everything looks so casually perfect. And well, Balmain… I stopped liking balmain quite some time ago. It’s just too much, too edgy. I wouldn’t want to be too edgy, I just want to look nice. And friendly.

I had to laugh when I read this, because the first thing I thought when I saw the Isabel Marant pics yesterday on style.com were: I need those boots! I love the fringed ones, but I’ll probably keep my eye out for the simpler buckle ones. Also agree with Balmain… FW09 is so bling and I think a lot of it looks really tacky in person. It’s fine to wear on stage if you’re Beyonce, but looks silly on a normal person. So glad Decarin toned it down and focused on shapes and colors instead of embellishments.
