Hit or miss 2010: The shaved / plucked/ bleached eyebrow….
Hello Ladies (and Gentlemen!)
First I would like to thank you VERY much for all your wonderful comments and your amazing support!
It means so much and within the last two weeks I became aware of a bunch of new and very hot blogs – I’m very happy and also very excited to become known of the creative and lovely minds behind them – and to exchange opinions and the latest gossip! Kisses to all of you lovely girls out there!!
Now coming to a serious *lol* matter which is going around in the fashion scene for FW 09 and for 2010. It has always been there of course but as it seems the fashion industry (and maybe some from the shaving industry + plucking instrument producers, too…) is talking about a new trend: The shaved, plucked and/or bleached eyebrow…
At the moment you cannot open any fashion mag seeing at least one model missing two dandy mustaches above her eyes. And it seems when you’re Brooke Shields you’re not happening in 2010….
What do YOU think about it? Hit or miss, try or leave, fun or fail.

“There is an asexual element to no eyebrows. We are much more accepting of the ‘other’ nowadays. Removing eyebrows removes a degree of expression, which makes one look less human and more cerebral, maybe even mechanical. It’s an exercise in modernity.”
“No brows has been a beauty option since the beginning of time,” said the makeup wizard Pat McGrath.

“‘Removing eyebrows removes a degree of expression, which makes one look less human and more anrebral, maybe even mechanical. It’s exercise in modernity.’
Sarah Brown, the beauty director of American Vogue, says: ‘People are saying: “How can I shake things up? I may not be able to buy myself a new handbag every three months, but what can I do to feel fresh and current and in style?”
Presumably that’s why the August issue of Vogue features an otherworldly Steven Klein shot of a model epilated above the eyes.
‘Everything is possible. This is a great way to look at the moment,’ says Brown.”

Thanks for visiting and thanks a bunch for your comment!!
I’m wishing you all a wonderful and pleasant week!!
Much love,
Sofie
