PS. This is going to lovely CoutureCarrie – make sure to visit her ultra-fabulous blog!!! Carrie – these are the vintage Valentino Garavani sunglasses I was talking about ;)
They’re frickin’ gooooorgeous…. xxx
today is a rainy and cold day in June here in Germany… So I took some time to scan through the latest Resort 2010 collections at Style.com. I’ve collected my favorite looks from my favorite designers for the Resort 2010 lines.
WHICH COLLECTION IS YOUR FAVORITE ONE??
I’m very, veeeery (I mean VERY!) keen on the Alexander Wang collection. I would go immediately for the gray jersey gown – hell, I love everything and can’t walk by if I see something made of gray jersey in a cool cut!
Each outfit is uber cool and is showing some fabulous details!

Burberry Prorsum is perfection as always. Fairy dresses in light chiffon fabric, harem styled pants, a fur/feather gilet… All in phenomenal neutral colors. What can I say: Burberry, it never gets boring!….

ERDEM is holding up some amazing prints – plus I was absolute DELIGHTED to see her royal sweetness Miss Trish Goff modeling here again – the short dresses are having a smart cocktail touch – the floor length dresses are just magnificent! The mix of cut and pattern is definitely an eyecatcher to me!

I would go for every outfit by Helmut Lang. The collection is so perfect for an everyday wear. It looks comfortable and stunning from beginning to end. Helmut Lang is kicking it again!

In my opinion it’s one of the best collections by THAKOON so far. The colors + fabric are so electrifying!
Especially the pleated + draped dresses on the right. YES and two thumbs up for THAKOON :)
Last but not least: Yigal Azrouel! I’m watching his collections since two years – and the more I see the more I like his designs. You can find everything: From a city trip to everyday wear – from a journey to Marrakech up to Manhattan. The right outfit for almost every occassion.
I’m not posting pictures of me at all and of what I’m wearing, I know, I know…. :)
So I wanted to show you my temporary style by pictures of street style icons. I’ve chose some pictures which are showing it very closely. At the moment I’m more on the black + gray side most of the time – currently I love to wear my black and brown Leopard scarves by LV as well as longer versions of harem pants (found two great, great pants at ASOS two weeks ago!) and my Rick Owens leather jackets. Two of them are vintage and my very favorite jackets of all times.
It’s not a secret that Emmanuelle Alt is of great inspiration to me :-D
So I hope you can imagine my styling a little bit better….
I’m wishing you all a very happy and wonderful weekend!
Much love
Sofie
We enjoyed a long weekend due to a public holiday yesterday – that’s the way, ahaaaa-ahaaaa, I like it, ahaaa-ahaaa It’s always great to have an extra day for the weekend. Why couldn’t it be like this always?
So I’m starting into the new (shorter) week today a little bit more refreshed. The fringed suede boots by MANGO will arrive tomorrow YAY so that’s making my day tomorrow ;)
If you have ever been to Paris or plan to visit the cite l’amour ever please make a stop at the fantasic “L’Hotel”!!
L’hotel has counted quite a few legendary + countless celebrities among its guests and has been the scene of many extraordinary events (including the death of Oscar Wilde). Each of the 20 rooms has its own character, its own universe or is associated with a decorative detail. Located in the heart of Saint Germain Des Pres, on the left bank, among the art galleries and antique shops.
Btw – if you loved “Sabrina” with Julia Ormond and Harrison Ford as well (yes, the remake of the great Audrey Hebhurn + Humphrey Bogart original): when Linus is follwing Sabrina to Paris he is waiting for her while is getting of the cab. That scene is in front of “L’Hotel”…
Another highlight is the gorgeous (but small) pool in the cellar. You have to book it and then you’ll have it on your own for one or two hours! That’s such an amazing thing!
And since Harpers Bazaar has honored it as the winner for “The best Urban Hotel in the World” in 2008 you can be very sure it will hold up a great experience also for you!
I was totally hypnozied when I saw Ashley Tisdales huge incredible beautiful ring…. I MEAN ISN’T THAT FRICKIN’ AWESOME OR WHAT? I need this one – asap, today, yesterday.
A stunning item by LOREE RODKIN!
Last but not least I’m very, very proud, thankful and blessed by receiving awards from The-Little-Fashion-Treasury and from Haute World!!
Thanks so much, ladies! This is very overwhelming and feels like a hug!
I’m not very familar with sending awards out (how many etc… spreading aaaaalll my love with hundreds of uber-cool blogs ;) ) as well as I would love-love-looooove to give these awards twice back(!) but after having a look at most fashionable & lovely-lovely Hanh at Life in Travel to reassure myself about it – here are the guidelines:
1. Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2. Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the blogger to let them know they have been chosen.
